Fabric Pumpkins/Calabazas De Tela

Materials/Materiales:
1. Fabric – pastel colors/Tela De Color que desea tonos pasteles
2. Scissors/Tijeras
3. Thread and needles/Hilo y agujas
4. Ribbon/Cintas
5. Flowers/Flores
6. Lace/Encajes
7. Wooden sticks/ Palito de madera
8. Pillow filling/relleno de almohadas
9. Old necklaces/Puedes usar joyería vieja si deseas
10. Molds to make the circles (plates, covers, anything round)/
Moldes para hacer el aro (platos, tapas o algo redondo)
Instructions/Elaboración:
1. Prepare all the materials/Ten listo todos los materiales
2. Choose the fabric you are going to use and iron so it looks better
Escoge la tela y alísala o aplánchala para mejor resultado
3. Put the mold on top of the fabric and trace around with a pen or marker to make the circle/
Pintar el aro del color que desea sobre la tela y recorta
4. It’s fine if you choose only one fabric, but you can also use two different fabrics, such as lace and plain, and layer both fabrics/
Si usas una tela está bien, pero puedes usar dos telas como encaje y otra lisa eso hace que resalte mucho
5. Prepare your needle with enough thread/
Prepare la aguja con bastante hilo doble
6. Baste around the fabric and pull the thread to make a small opening/
Empiece a hilvanar al rededor y recoja la tela
7. Little by little, fill with pillow filling. Pull thread to completely to close the opening/
Ponga poco a poco el relleno y cierre todo el aro como un almohadón
8. With the needle and a long thread, start at the center (where you gathered the fabric) and sew down along the circumference of the pillow and come back up to the center. Then, cross the initial line and sew down and back up again as you did before. You are going to do this four times, crossing each time. You will end up with eight sections. If you look from the top, it will look like a pie cut in eight slices/
Luego con la aguja con bastante hijo empiece a coser del centro hacia abajo y lo pasa del lado hacia el centro de arriba y talla para que se forme como el gajito de una naranja lo repite como formando una cruz ya seria dividido en cuatro tallando luego en medio de cada gajito que formo hace lo mismo de arriba para bajo hasta formar ocho gajitos para que quede como una calabaza
9. In the center, where you gathered the fabric, glue the wooden stick, making sure the size of the stick is proportionate with the size of the pumpkin/
En el centro de donde cosió le pega el palito calcule el tamaño que calce con el tamaño de la calabaza
10. Attach the necklaces from the center top to the bottom. There should be 8 long ones and 8 short ones, place them alternating the sizes/
Ponga los collarcitos poniendo del centro hacia abajo unos largos y otros cortos, que seria 8 largos y 8 cortos de uno de por medio del otro
11. Attach the lace to decorate as you please/
Luego ponga los encajes que usted desea para decorar
12. The 99 Cent store sells small crocheted doilies that can be used/
En la tienda del 99 cent o Dollar Tree venden mantelitos pequeños tejido y los hace verse muy elegantes
13. You can use old jewelry, earrings, necklaces, lace, flowers, pearls, etc./
Puede poner joyas Viejas, aretes, collares todo que haga que resalte. Lazos, flore, perlitas, diamantitos etc
You can make them in different colors and use them as centerpieces.
